my 1999 cadillac escalade has low oil pressure when the engine warms up and you are sitting at a light. the oil pressure goes up when you press on the gas.

this sounds normal. if you have about 15-20 p.s.i. at idle when warm that's ok. Aslong as your idiot light doesn't come on or a engine light of some type then you are ok. that's why it's important tochange oil an dfilter at 4-5000 mile intervals or if you don't drive that much about every 4 months

Are you determining this by the I/P gauge, or has it been physically tested?
