Engine Performance problem
1993 Cadillac El Dorado V8 Automatic 190K miles

Like always I filled my car with gas having no problems won't up to head for work. I started my car and it crank over, due to cold weather I sat for a few minutes rev the engine to 2000 rpm, sat for a few more minutes and ready to head out. Car loss power and died. Tried to turn car over only a "clunk" sound. I charged the battery and checked the starter, I got nothing. I can see the starter is engaging the flywheel attempting to turn it over. I only get a tick like action from the engine nothing more. Please help!

Doesn't sound good. The fact that it lost power and died and now won't turn over is concerning. Could be hydro-locked. First remove the belt and see if it will turn over(accessory seized alt, a/c, etc.). If not, remove all 8 plugs and see if it will turn over then. Liquid will spray out of plug port on cylinder if it turns. If it still won't turn, I would suspect the engine or transmission seized.
