THE ENGINE LIGHT HAS BEEN ON DUE TO A THERMOSTAT PROBLEM. I HAVE BEEN DRIVING IT FOR SOME TIME. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW IF THERE WAS A RECALL ON FAULTLY THERMOSTAT. I HAVE HAD NO PROBLEM WITH OVERHEATING. ANOTHER PROBLEM THAT STARTED LAST WEEK IS THE KEYLESS ENTRY REMOTE IS NOT WORKING. I HAVE PUT NEW BATTERY IN BOTH REMOTES. WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE
. I ALSO CHECK ALL FUSES UNDER THE HOOD.

No recall on thermostat. I am assuming that you have a P0128 for failing to reach operating temperature. The thermostat is stuck open, or opening prematurely. First thing on the keyless entry would be to test the fobs, this requires a special tool. Next would be to attempt programming, if it won't program, you could have a fault with the remote control door lock receiver/antenna module.
