1994 Cadillac Concours V8 Front Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles
Why does my car idle run high, then low? It is also difficult to start and then cuts off & dies. Sometimes it can run very smooth for a minute, then it starts with the idle problem & everything else? (has new plugs & fuel filter)

You could have a failing idle speed control motor, dirty/sticking throttle body, faulty ecm, or wiring issues. Is there any check engine light, or messages displayed on the info center?
