1998 Cadillac Catera Heater Core
Heater problem
1998 Cadillac Catera 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 148000 miles
Hello I just bought a 1998 Cadillac Catera and I believe the Heater Core to be bad (smoke coming out the air vents/i hear like water leaking/bubbling from the dash/passenger floor is wet and there is a leak from around the firewall area underneath the outside i saw) How hard is it to change out the heater core, and what needs to be removed to do so? And could it be anything else wrong? Thanks Matt

That is a heater core leak you described all the classic signs. Bummer is dash has to be removed to gain acess to air change unit.
