how do I find 60 degrees BTDC on the crankshaft?
I see the timing mark on the Harmonic Balancer but, I can not find a timing scale or mark on the engine block or timing cover.

There are no marks. The ignition timing is not adjustable.

I need to find 60 degrees BTDC so I can replace the timing belt. I have both cams lined up on their marks but can not find the mark to line up the crankshaft.
Is there a mark for the crankshaft to align with?

They are only looking for an approximate position for you to stop and install the tool. You know a qtr turn is 90 degrees so 60 will be at about the 10 o'clock position.
Once the tool is installed, then you slowly move it forward until it reached the attaching point on the water pump.
I hope you have the alignment tools for this because your just wasting your time if you don't.

Thank you very much for answering my question. I was kind of thinking that might be the case with having to use a special too. I know where I have to go from here. And thanks again, friend!
