1994 Cadillac Brougham Car dies when you come to a stop
Engine Mechanical problem
1994 Cadillac Brougham V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 120000 miles
When I first drive the car it runs fine. then i come to a stop light and it starts to sput and spit and dies. I have replaced the fuel filter. Checked the air filter and put dry gas in the tank. I have to wait for a long time before it will start again. If I try to early it has a hard time to turn over. Any ideas?

try cleaning the throttleplate wth choke cleaner as they get gunk on them and caue the engines to quit running. Make sure to clean by the idle ar contorl valve as well. As far as it being hard to start afer it quits, have the starter and battery checked as well as cleaning the grounds going to the engine from the battery and cleaning battery terminals as well........
