1987 Cadillac Brougham Won't start.
Engine Mechanical problem
1987 Cadillac Brougham V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 100000 miles
My caddy wont start,I put a brand new battery in it thinking it would start right up,but no luck.I noticed when i tried to start my car up,it just made a tick-tick-tick everytime i turned the ignition to start my vehicle.Personally I think it might be the silonoid on the starter or the whole starter itself. What do you think?Or could the alternator have something to do with it?

Could be the starter, park and neutral switch and ignition switch assuming the battery and connections are good.
