Why would a Dealership sell a 2001 VW Jetta VR6 for $1,600 and say that "it drives great, and that keep in mind it is a 1500 Dollar car" what could be wrong that I might find out later and pay for it alot. Thank you to those who Answer this with Seriousness.

They do it cause they can get away with it. Anything could go wrong with it have an independent mechanic inspect it and see what he finds. If you wan the car tell the dealer you'llgive them $1400 for it.

When the time comes to replace the timing chains, it will cost more than the car is worth.
