1997 Buick Skylark water pump?

i pulled over and let it sit
antifreeze all over the street
is it the water pump
what could it be

Generally, my experience with water pumps has been that when they go bad that's it and you won't be able to drive anywhere. If you were able to drive after that incident then I would say no it is not your water pump. Also, the water pump will make a noise if it is going bad. Maybe you just need to tighten the hoses.
