1997 Buick Skyhawk 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 160000 miles
1997 Buick skylark with 4 cyl. New battery, new starter, can put the key in and all the lights come on and everything works but will not turn over. No clicking no sounds when key is turned to start. Took it to shop they had it for 3 weeks and said they thought it might be security system but they do not have code to reset it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Welcome to the forum, check ignition switch fuse--60 amp in underhood fuse box. Not only check the fuse, use a testlite on the fuse circuit, should be hot all the time. That voltage goes to ignition switch, with key in start position, voltage goes through neutral switch/trans range sensor, whatever they call it, then to the starter solenoid, small purple wire.
