1995 Buick Riviera Repair Question

Window doesn't work
Electrical problem
1995 Buick Riviera 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 108000 miles
95 Buick Riviera driver side power windows switch doesn't work but power lock switch works (same part). Installed new switch. Both windows worked from driver side switch. Try an hour later and have the same problem again. Any suggestions?

this can be a couple of things. It can be the window motor or the wires ging through the door are almost broken. This happens alot especially from the older cars that the door is opened and closed all the time..... You'll have to check to see if you have any power to the motor. that should tell a lot.
