1988 Buick Riviera Computer Trouble

1988 Buick Riviera 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic 46000 miles

Getting a EO41 trouble code. (Cam sensor failure) Already changed out the cam sensor and ignition module. Going by the flow chart from the manual for this error code tells me that my new ignition module is bad. Flow chart has me check cam sensor wiring harness at points A-B and B-C. A-B is low (5 volts), B-C is OK. Ohmed out circuit 633 OK from module to sensor and to ground. Any suggestions.

Thanks.

I have seen the pick-up magnets fall off the timing gear. That is what the sensor sees going by to know cam timing. Rmove the sensor and turn engine slowly by hand to be sure the little piece is on the cam gear
