2002 Buick Rendezvous engine access

You can do these wright in the vehicle, there not that bad, just time consuming. You do not have to drop the engine down, do it all from the top. Just remove the upper and lower intake, both valve covers, remove the rocker arms and push rods, dont mix up the push rods they are different lengths, intake is shorter. Remove the the belt and alt, disconnect the exhaust at the flange at the exhaust manifold.(I would do both head gaskets at the this time)then remove the rear head, for the front one remove the a/c compressor and upper bracket, remove the rear exhaust crossover pipe and remove the head.
