1997 Buick Regal 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

Hi,
I have a 1997 Buick Regal / 3.8 Motor
When I try to start the engine, all the Dashboard clocks and lights go crazy, the speed needle, the RPH needle. Every dash indicator simply go wild, crazy and of course, the engine wont start.

What could be the cause of this? What part do I need to change?

If the engine refuses to start and the gauges are going crazy, it could be a couple things. I would start by having the body control module (BCM) tested to make sure it is okay. ALso, just for the heck of it, check for ground problems. Make sure the one to the engine block is clean and tight, the battery terminals are clean and tight, and check for body grounds that are loose, rusted, or broken.
