'95 Buick Regal Custom - 3.8 liter V6 - When trying to re-start the engine after a stop of say. 10-20 minutes, my car is getting flooded. If the engine doesn't re-start on the first cranking (chugs, sputters and dies) it will not re-start without using starter-fluid. And even then, it chugs and sputters until it finally gets going good. Then. No lasting symptoms. So far I've done a complete tune-up (plugs, wires, fuel filter, injector cleaner, etc.). Any ideas?

Thanks in advance!. Roger :-)

Sounds like injectors are bleeding down into the cylinders. Sitting overnight, it has a chance to dry out but on a short stop it doesn't. How about if you just shut it off for 1 or 2 minuites? Does your oil smell gasey?

Sorry for the delayed response, James. After a min or 2 of being stopped it starts just fine. Only when it's been shut-off for say. 15-30 mins. Is there a problem. Oil does not smell gasy.

Thanks! :-)

Still looking for a solution. Tired of doing the "starting fluid shuffle"! :(
