Engine died while coming to a stop. Some chugging then no power, then stall. It is very difficult to resart. Need to hold the gas pedal down 1/4 to 1/2 then crank. once started, I have to maintain 3-4k rpm. while at that rpm, the engine will cycle between full power/ no power. Sometimes exhaust smells rich, sometimes lean. Fuel press. good. ignition module/coils good, no engine check light. The light does come on when key is in the on position, so bulb works. Injectors ohmed ok. Checked multiple ground connections and tightened. Checked vacuume hoses/ok. There is about 19 inches of vac. when I could get it to idle. I put a code reader on it and there was no fault codes. I could use some ideas.

Thanks.
