i have a 89 buick regal its been acting real funky... i put new crank postion sensor and spark plugs and wires along with fuel filter...the car idles lower than it should... when i have it in drive and im giving it gas it cuts out then comes back cuts out and then comes back but it dont come back unless i let of the gas pedel... today it actually drove fine except it idle low to where it would die at a stop sign....then later on it started acting up to where i could barely touch the gas pedel then it would just die on me...i also replace the ingniton control modual...i have no clue what the problem is...

Hi:
I want to start by checking for vacuum leaks. Listen for hissing sounds under the hood. Also, check around the intake for evidence of coolant leaks that would indicate an intake problem. Look at vacuum hoses for damage, dryrot, disconnected...

Also, is the check engine light on? Finally, what prompted you to replace the crank sensor?
