Buick Regal LS 2003 58,000 miles
My buick regal shift indicator light on the center console went out. I brought the car to the Buick repair center. They told me there is no indicator light on the center console shift unit in the books for a 2003 Regal LS.
The only shift indicator is on the dash.
I have told them it always light up since I bought it. And dimmed with the interior light switch for the console.
Is there a part number for the Light or is it part of the shift unit?

My Database does show a lamp in the floor shift model of the 03 Regal LS wiring diagram. Unfortunately, it does not state if the bulb is replaceable or not, and if it is replaceable, what bulb it is.

I can tell you that in my experience, the most common lamps used to illuminate the floor shift indicator are #24 and #194. And they are available at any autoparts store and most department store with an automotive section. The only way I can tell you is to open up the shifter and look to see what bulb is in there.

Sorry I can not provide any more information than that.

Let me know if it helps.

Dan
