The brake line is leaking directly under the master cylinder. How much should it cost to repair and can you give me instructions for DIY
Front Wheel Drive
The car has been sitting for a full year without being used.
Can a portion of the brake line be repaired?
Thank you for any help you can give.

As long as you have enough length in the line you can get a compression fitting at an auto parts store, use a tube cutter to cut the line where it's leaking, install the compression fitting and bleed the brake system starting with the master cylinder. Make sure you get the right size fitting.
