Currently, if my keyless entry trunk release button touches anything in my pocket, it will open the trunk, which is spring loaded to open. This allows anything I have in the trunk to be stolen and I will totally be unaware that the trunk is open. The trunk button is extremely sensitive and only requires a quick light pressure to open the trunk.

Can I change the remote's setting to only open the trunk if I push and hold or push two times quickly? I sometimes have to leave important things in the trunk and I do not want them stolen.

I cant find anything on setting the sensetivity of the transmitter. It looks as though it is a straight up works or doesnt deal. You may want to get another transmitter ands see ifit does the same thing. If you get anew one, email me and I will walk you through programming it
