Electrical problem
1997 Buick Park Avenue V6 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 116000 miles
----------------------------------------------------------------
I replaced the battery and when I started the car I noticed the fuel gauge needle had gone past E and stuck below the stop pin under the F. I tried resetting the computor by removing the fuse and putting it back, I also removed the positive cable and putting it back but the gauge is still past the E.
Thanks, Perplexed 101

Get a good magnet. Hold it close to the gauge. Turn the magnet counter clockwise until the needle goes back to normal.
