I have a 1996 Buick Park ave. I just changed out the waterpump and attemping to replace a popped serpentine belt. Is there any way to replace the belt without loosening the motor mount? If so how and if not how do go about the task of loosening the motor mount and dropping the motor to replace the belt? Thank you for your time and knowledge. I also dont have a cc to make a donation online. how else can i contribute?

Yes, after placing a jack underneath the motor to support its weight, you do have to take the motor mount bolt loose on the bottom right. There is a bolt with a spacer you have to unscrew and this will allow you to place the belt in its proper routing under the mount as well as through the mount. good luck if you have this same problem. As a new member I understand that money is the best payment for ones knowledge but being 1$ short today from one person doesnt always mean you still cant make $100.00 off that same person in the future. I will still recommend the sight to those in my circle when in time of need.
