What is involved in changing the valve cover gaskets on the buick 3800.It looks as if the injector lines run in the way of an easy change.

Front valve cover: Remove serpentine belt. Remove plenum cover. Remove spark plug wires and mark where they go. Remove valve cover screws and gently pry cover loose.

Rear cover: May have to remove power steering pump. Remove EGR pipe, valve and adapter. Remove power brake vacumn hose. Remove air injector pipe if necessary. Remove valve cover as for front.

Everything assembled in reverse order. Make sure you do not damage gasket surfaces when remove the old gaskets. :D
