I have 93 Buick Park Avenue (3.8 liter) with 115,000 miles... The other day I noticed my 'coolant low' light on. The fluid did not look extremely low, so I added coolant and forgot about it. Two days later, same light comes on and when I checked the fluid level it was low in the radiator and also almost totally empty in the plastic reservoir. I also noticed a big puddle of fresh coolant on the driveway. So I filled everything again and looked for leaks with the engine off... nothing. When I turned the car on I do not beleive it was leaking, but when I turned it off... a nice puddle was leaking underneath my car toward the back of the engine.

What the heck is going on?

Also, I bought my car 4 years ago and am not sure if I have ever heard the cooling fans go on. I know I have never seen them go on unless I make them go on by putting the car in diagnostic mode. Any ideas about this? Thank you for any help!

Time for a pressure test! As for the sensors, if they are out of range it can cause the fans not to work you have ect relay and pcm to work your fans turn a/c on, does a fan come on with it? It should!
