I have a lot of trouble getting my car to start when it is wet or humid. IF I can get it to start (usually after many tries and giving it more gas), it misfires and/or stalls. Also, I bought a new battery in the spring and it is already dead. I don't know if that is related.
I was told to check the distributor cap for cracks but I didn't see any.

Hi:
The most common cause of this type of problem is ignition wires and or the distributor cap. Cracks in the cap are really hard to see. I would start with a good general tune up to see if that helps. New plugs, wires, cap, and rotor may take care of the problem.

Also, I want you to check the ground wire on the engine block to make sure it is tight and clean. It may be a good idea to check body grounds too.

Let me know what you find, or if this helps.
