Even though there are 100K+ miles thereon, she's been, how do you say, super powered. I bought her in 1995.
She's now refusing to start right away: new battery, new alternator, maintenance up-to-date.
COULD IT BE THAT SHE NEEDS A FUEL INJECTOR CLEANING?
HOW ABOUT IF WE CLEAN THE GAS TANK, since it could be particles clogging the fuel injector.

I have other concerns, but this is the main one. After she starts, she runs like a "jet."

The alternator was a "car salvage" replacement. Could it have gone bad already?

Thanks.

It is not your alternator. Follow this diagnostic instead. If you don't have it, it may not apply to your vehicle.
