I don't quite understand why Buick doesn't shut off the power outlets when the car is turned off. But they don't. Everything I have plugged in. Serius radio. Car cell phone etc. I want to be turned off. I don't want to have to switch these things off myself. The outlet I use is under the drivers seat.

Question. The fuse box is under the back seat. I am familiar with electrical wiring.

Will there be a problem to rewire. Remove the fuse and place a jumper to a different fuse that is turned off?

If so, what would any concerns be? All devices I would plug in wouldn't cause much current draw.

What fuse would you recommend connecting to?

Would there be a different way to go about this?

Thanks in advance

Hi Don,

Thank You for the Donation.

The only problem with you doing any rewiring I would be concerned about is Voiding any Warrantee still on the vehicle.

Other than that you can use any 15 or 20 amp fuse that turns off with Ignition.
