The car was running fine 4 days ago, when I last drove it. Today I went to drive it to work and the service engine soon light came on and the car started vibrating and the dash would dim occasionally. I also noticed kind of a burning rubber smell.
I have taken care of the car fairly well.
Is this a problem with the alternator?
