I have a 1999 buick lesabre with 199,950 miles. She is a great car and has no history of repair. I service her every 3000 miles and have tuned her every 80,000

a few weeks ago she began to stall out. It was weird there was no pattern to it and no warining, she would just either hichup or die. You could restart her and she would be fine for a while and then she would do it again. I thought it might be a battery connection since the voltage meter droppped to zero and the light came on. I could not tell always if the voltage drop came before or after the stall but the radio and clock would reset which made me think power interruption. I put in a new battery and cleaned all connections and the car starts right up and seems to have a good charge.

Also a couple weeks ago the check engine light began coming on intermittingly and is now on all the time. The car still stalls out but the clock and radio have not reset since I changed the battery.

I put it on the OBD II last weekend and it gave a p0102 code which meant either MAF or Air Flow control sensor. I changed the Air Flow Control sensor and that seemed to help but after a couple of days it began to stall again and the check engine light came on again. What is significant, maybe, is that the car ran good while it had less than half a tank of fuel. Once my wife filled the tank. The light immeidately came on and it began stalling again. Could this be a fuel pump, filler cap, or is the MAF really the problem? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Never rule out MAF's as a problem. They get dirty over the years and will slowly read out of range. They are the cause of many differnet performance problems and codes. That cod eis MAF low frequency. I would try a new one, and remember that cheap electronics are exactly that.
