where is the water pump on a 1997 buick lesaber located and how hard is it to change it.

IT is a 2 and a half hour job. IF I was going to do it on mine, I would replace the plastic elbow that attaches to it and the belt tensioner at the same time. Coolant flows through the tensioner and they seem to fail close to the water pump in time from what I've seen.
