my car was in dire need of a tune up. had been neglected for a while. I did a complete tune up on it, but now it has a new problem. It won't stay running unless you have the gas peddle all the way down. even at that it stutters and sounds horrible. it blows smoke out of the exhaust and will not idle. some people say it might be the fuel pump. we changed the fuel filter and that did not help.
