I have a 1990 Buick Century V.6 3.3L - that keeps fouling the spark plugs - they are too rich - someone said I need a new air mass flow sensor - but these are very expensive - could it possibly be something else?

Take a paper clip and plug it into the A and B terminals where a regular scan tool would go. Then turn on the ignition with the engine off and the Check engine light will flash a number sequence for you to tell you if anything is wrong.
