IN SHORT I HAVE ALEREADY REPLACED ONE OF THE MOTORS IN POWER WINDOWS---IT HAS SINCE QUIT WORKING--I BOUGHT THE PART AND HAD A LOCAL MECHANIC INSTALL IT---HOWEVER NOW I HAVE ALL FOUR WINDOWS THAT WILL NOT WORK (UP OR DOWN)-THE LAST BEING TODAY,IT TOOK ONE LAST BREATH AND DIED IN THE 4 INCH DOWN POSITION OF COURSE AND WILL NOT STAY UP AFTER MANUALLY PULLING IT UP-MY QUESTION IS THIS---IM CONSIDERING DOING THIS AS INEXPENSIVE AS I CAN OF COURSE-SO AFTER READING A LITTLE ABOUT IT ,HOW DO I KNOW WHEN ORDERING MOTOR ,IF I NEED TO ALSO INCLUDE REGULATOR WITH ORDER.THER IS A SIGNIFACNCE DIFFERENCE IN PRICE.HOW CAN ONE TELL IF REGULATOR IS BAD ,OR SHOULD I NOT EVEN BOTHER AND TAKE IT TO DEALER?--PLEASE HELP! ITS RAINY SEASON HERE IN FLORIDA.

I don't know how much testing you have done, you may be way ahead of me on this, but, If none of the windows work, I'd check b+ and ground to the masterswitch, before I did anything else. My info shows B+ is yellow wire and ground is black.

You can also check the circuit breaker for the power window, see if the circuit goes hot when you turn on the key. Sometimes if there is a bind on the motor or the motor is faulty, when you try to operate, the breaker will be hot to the touch.
