Transmission problem
1994 Buick Century 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic
Dear Sirs, With my 94 Buick Century, when my car is in park and i rev the engine it purrs like a kitten. when i go to drive, as I accelerate there is a metallic slapping noise like a metal chain that is loose and it causes the car to lose power and jerk. i have asked severeal mechanics that I know what the problem could be. some say that between the engine and the transmission in the transfer case there is a drive chain and other mechanics say there is a gear(s) that are bad. i called a dealership and was told that there is a drive chain but some mechanics still don't believe it.
