Transmission problem
1994 Buick Century 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

I'm having a problem the transmission will not shift unless i let go of the gas then it will shift and will not go over 45 mph.

did this start all of a sudden? is the check engine light on???? how many miles are on this??? it may be a speed sensor.... without a little more info i cant give you a guaranteed answer.

Yes it did start all of a sudden the check engine light is on and the car has 183 miles on it thats what i thought it was a speed sensor but not for sure.
