I recently bought a 91 century and ran into problems immediately. So I got a computer and cam up with code 26 QDM fault. How would one go about fixing this problem? I was told to check my grounds and everything before replacing the ECM but they all checked out. Idk PLEASE HELP! Thank you

Ah, the helpful GM "Quad Driver" circuit fault code. It means a short or ground in the wiring to any of as many as four miscellaneous components. GM for some reason doesn't like to say more specifically than that. When I got this code, I just started looking at the wiring and soon discovered the wire to the purge canister solenoid was broken (actually, it looked like someone had cut it). I reattached it and everything was fine. I think maybe the torque converter clutch solenoid might be on there and maybe the EGR solenoid, if you have one (my 92 v6 3300 doesn't).
