My 2003 BMW Z4 2.5 won't start. When I turn the key, it just clicks. The radio and lights work, however the clock, and all the computer data (except temperature) read as dashes. The trip meter reads 0 (I didn't reset it). It has 13,000 (ish) miles. All the warning lights are on, oil, battery EML and a bunch of stuff I don't recognize. It DOES, however, warn me that my seat belt isnt buckled. Nice to know it thinks that I should be strapped in as I curse at the darn car!

thanks for your help. I assume I just need to tow it into the shop, but I'm hoping for a miricle, like gee, you didn't twirl to the left 3 times as you chanted "no whammies", or maybe there's a reset button! :D

Thanks again!

Kim, the problem you are describing sounds a lot like a dead battery. Is the warranty still in effect? If it is, this is a covered item. Let me know and good luck.
