The sensor lights for Airbag and Drive stability stay on. When these lights are on does that mean these are disabled? What is the average cost to have these repaired or replaced?

There are two distinct issues at play here. The DSC lamp indicates there is a fault in the dynamic stability control, it may be a simple case of clearing the fault and realigning the steering angle sensor, or it may be something more. The second issue is the SRS lamp, it may be due to the seat occupancy detector or the belt latch pyrotechnics or? A test of the cars' systems with the proprietary testing software is in order straightaway to guide these repairs, guessing or using generic scanning equipment simply wont do.
