2004 BMW Z4 rear view mirror
Interior problem
2004 BMW Z4 4 cyl Front Wheel Drive Manual 31000 miles
I wanted to replace my rearview mirror with one that has the home link and want to know how to replace it. Also would the dealer have to reprogram my car for the garage door opener to work?

The only way I know of for that to work is if it comes wired from the factory and has the correct equipment for it. You can't just install the mirror and have it work.
