Engine Cooling problem
2002 BMW X5 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

I WAS DRIVING THE CAR AND NOTICED THE TEMPETURE GAGE WAS HIGH SO I WHENT TO TOP UP THE WATER LEVEL WHEN I WENT TO TOP UP THE WATER LEVEL OIL STARTED TO COME OUT WERE YOU PUT THE WATER IN IS THIS NORMAL

NO oil is not normal. Now what color was it? How does the engine oil itself look does it have water in it or is it low? Get back to me and we will go from there.

Colour of oil was black/ and oil in engine is normal and not low

Ok I need you to check you trans fluid if it an automatic. The trans cooler is in the radiator and if that cooler failed then all you need to do is replace the radiator and fluid and that will fix it. Let me know what you find ok.
