2001 BMW X5 V8 All Wheel Drive Automatic

hello I was changing my serpintine belt and my two pulleys the tensioner pulley and the idler pulley the tensioner pulley I got out but the idler pulley it has a torx screw on it and I rounded it off now I dont know how to take off that pulley can you help me someone

The entire tensioner assembly might need to be removed to get that rounded off screw out. Snap-on makes a dandy tool to get those pesky stripped screws out too.

Yea but to take off that tensioner you have to remove the idler pulley

Tools from Snap-on. The multi spine extractors are a great addition to any BMW technicians toolbox. I have the whole set and have used them with the kind of problem you are experiencing, they get the job done.
