1997 BMW M3 Wont Start!

When I go to start my car its seems as if the battery is dead. I bought a new battery and it still does the same thing. It wont jump from the battery in the trunk but I can jump it from the terminals under the hood. And I can roll start it as well

Perhaps there is a loose connection from the battery terminals to the access point under hood. Or there is a compromised battery cable, inspect it and the terminals and let me know.
