I am having a problem. First, I notice when I started the car in the morning, it would ride really rough and start losing power, I would cut the engine off, start it back, and it would be okay for the moment, but every morning it would do this with the check engine light on. I took it to the dealer, they told me it had a oil leak in the gasket and oil was getting on the coil and plugs. I replace all the plugs, coils, and gaskets (1500.00) and it is still doing the same thing. I also replaced the air flow meter. Do you know what might be the problem?

The old dealer bait and switch. An `02 with 50k is rare indeed. It is very possible there is a software upgrade for this concern, the dealer should have informed you of the latest version of software and it's cost. I know they told you oil is the likely cause, it is an old trick, tell the customer only part of the story, and then when the technician has it in pieces, the other shoe drops.
