I intend to buy a 2001 BMW 740iL in the UAE in the Gulf region. The car is imported from Japan. Average Temperature in the UAE reaches about 48C (118F). What should the car be fitted or re-fitted with to bear the heat of both engine and weather, and go trouble-free.

An 8 year old cooling system is going to be in need of a close inspection and possibly replacement of heat exchangers, they don't have a long life due to the plastic used in their construction.
