Since I replaced the battery(was dead for 6 mos.) as soon as I turn the key(to ACC or run position),a very loud deep hum is heard through the speakers. Nobody I talked to has ever heard of this befors, even our dealer. They want to see the car for a diagnostic check. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? When I parked the car 6 mos. ago,all was quiet. Thanks

I have had these issues with E-38 cars in the past, it sometimes shows up as a faulty amplifier, the battery dying probably had nothing to do with it. The fault is an internal issue and requires replacement.
