2000 BMW 740 BMW would not start

The check engine light came on and two week later it wount start, I was told to change the cam sensor but it still would not start, please please help

There are fault codes that need to be retrieved and relayed to me for the diagnostics to be of any value. You may need to seek out someone who can read these faults for you as it requires special equipment.
