If the door handle is not releasing the latch, then more than likely the rod or linkage inside the door is the issue or the latch is just frozen.

We may need to remove the door panel even though you are not able to open the door which is not easy, but we are going to need to gain access to the latch and if the door will not open this is the only way to get to it.

Please remove the door panel and then operate the interior or exterior handle while watching the latch to find out if the linkage or latch are the issue.
