Relays works we installed new ones, but once the car sits for three weeks it starts for 20 min then dies then sits for three weeks it starts then dies again, help, if its a computer maybe I can change the burn out resistor inside which one would it be?

Labor guide shows 2.4 hours of labor to do the pump andthe pump is around $400.00. You should come in under $1000 by a few hundered. Fixing or selling depends on your situation, you already own it with no payments then I would fix it

Hello, but the pump works, the signal from the computer is not going through the wire, if you take the pump out of the car and connect it it works, if you plug it in back the connector and try to start with the key it does not even work so we took a volt meter and put it inside the connector to check if there is a voltage going throught, when we try to start on the vold meter there is no signal from the computer we traced the wire from the pump connector to the computer, so then we try to hot wire we plug the pump back to the car connctor and connected sepparate wires the pump, the pump began to make noise wich means it works an dpumps gas, but it when turn a key it wont start, (maybe a fuel filter) but I think the computer broke and shut down the whole fuel system, thanks

If you have a DME (computer) problem, I know of a place that can repair the one in the car, which is less expensive than replacement.
