Air Conditioning problem
2001 BMW 540i V8 Two Wheel Drive Automatic 80,000 miles
The display for the air conditon is lit up and functioning but nothing is coming out of the vents. I can increase the fan speed and watch the display show the the increase but again nothing is coming out of the vents. And this does apply to both air and heat. The system stayed out for several months and then one day it was working again. It worked for several months without problems and then it went out again. Please help?

Replace the final stage, go to Realoem.com to ID the car and look in the 64 section for the final stage unit.
